Global business travel management company FCM announced Kevin Yang Wen Xuan’s appointment as China’s Commercial Director. He will lead the team to fully expand the company’s business in the Chinese market and accelerate the realisation of business goals.
Yang has nearly ten years of experience in the industry and has held several business development positions. He has a deep understanding of the ecology of China’s travel industry. Before joining FCM, Yang worked for Ctrip Business Travel as the East China Regional Director of the Customer Success department, providing guidance to the team to ensure that the customer’s business travel project achieved the expected goals.
Calvin Xie, General Manager of FCM Greater China, said: “The Chinese market has its unique culture, business environment and travel pain points. FCM’s localisation strategy means that we must fully understand the needs of domestic customers and provide solutions that meet market characteristics. Yang served as the Sales Director of FCM China from 2017 to 2019. We are very happy that he has rejoined FCM again, and we also believe that his professional knowledge of business travel products and technologies, combined with his industry insights into the local market, will lead the team to better meet the needs of domestic customers and achieve rapid business growth.”
“FCM has been committed to the actual needs of local customers in the Chinese market in recent years, creating industry best practices in the field of business travel. Whether it is the launch of the proprietary reservation system FCM Platform or meetings & event services, FCM China aims to help local companies upgrade their business travel management. This appointment is also in line with our key market business development strategy – to meet the ever-increasing needs of Chinese companies for personalised and high-quality business travel management services, and to deepen the brand’s presence in the Chinese market,” Calvin added.
“It’s with great pleasure to join FCM again. The recovery of the domestic business travel market has shown huge growth potential and opportunities. Customers pay more attention to the efficiency, convenience, and experience of travel. Professional travel management companies can customise solutions. I look forward to working with my team to formulate and implement business expansion strategies, and to create greater success for corporate customers’ travel projects with cutting-edge products, technologies, and high-quality services of value.” said Yang.
